There are two different streams of campaign, the public and the private. Both have their advantages and disadvantages; however, both can be very effective if deployed by experienced campaigners such as Haigh International Justice.
Media Campaigns
We are experts on the judicial system of Dubai, the wider UAE and in various countries across the Gulf. Our team have provided hundreds of radio, television and print interviews to the international media and run countless successful campaigns to deliver liberation from injustice for our clients.
Sometimes, it can be beneficial for someone in legal troubles or in prison to raise the public awareness of their specific case and where relevant the injustice of it. Some cases can be very sensitive and therefore it is essential victims seek professional advice before speaking directly to the press, as an ill-advised public statement can often have the opposite result to that which was desired. We work with our clients to find the right solution.
Political Campaigns
In parallel to a media campaign – or sometimes instead of one – it is always advisable to campaign to the relevant government and politicians and to NGOS and intergovernmental organisations such as the United Nations.
Our team have raised awareness of various issues with the UAE and Middle Eastern judiciaries over the years and will continue to do so. We know the right government departments, politicians, and NGOs to approach.
